Mostro XC GTX

This one was already one of the weirdest silhouettes in the archive, and now they’ve gone full gorpcore alien mode with it.

The Mostro LC GTX takes that original sprint-spike-meets-surf-shoe madness and drags it straight into outdoor territory through a waterproof GORE-TEX® build, rugged tooling and toggle lacing that feels straight off some techwear moodboard from 2007. The signature spiked sole is still doing its thing underneath, giving the pair that unmistakable “what even is this shoe?” energy that Mostro fans are fully addicted to at this point.

What makes this version hit so hard is how unapologetically niche it feels. Futuristic, slightly aggressive and lowkey looking like something a video game character would wear, and honestly? That’s exactly the appeal.

We'd say this is one of the coolest directions PUMA’s taken the Mostro in for a minute.
